Adam Smith Reading Group: American Founding Political Writings, session I

For the first reading group of the semester, we will be reading Stephen Hopkins' The Rights of Colonies Examined, which is ch.6 in in the book American Political Writing during the Founding Era, 1760–1805, Vol. I, as well as the Virginia Declaration of Rights and the Declaration of Independence.
