Adam Smith's Moral Authority in sixteen languages

Adam Smith's The Wealth of Nations appeared on March 9, 1776. On March 9, 2026, Dan published an essay at Law & Liberty. The piece explains that the book's teachings functioned as important moral authorizations, because Smith was a moral authority.
